Everything you need to go from zero to upload-ready on Fokus. Three steps, about ten minutes total — and you only do this once.
1

Create your account

Sign up with your email. No card required.
2

Set up your studio

A short first-time setup so every photo carries your name and watermark.
3

Verify your studio

A one-time ID check that unlocks photo uploads and earns you a verified badge.
Already onboarded? Head straight to creating a collection.

1. Create your account

Sign up for Fokus

Create your free photographer account — takes under a minute. Signup link https://studio.fokus.ph/sign-up
Use the email you actually check. We send collection approvals, sale notifications, verification results, and withdrawal confirmations there.

Once you’ve confirmed your email, sign in at studio.fokus.ph. Fokus creates your studio automatically and drops you into studio setup.

2. Set up your studio

The first time you sign in, Fokus shows a Studio Setup panel. It collects the handful of things every photo you sell depends on — your studio name, your public link, your logo, and your watermark.

Please make sure to save your studio settings.

Studio

Image (12)

Studio name, handle, and logo

Pick your handle carefully — it becomes your public studio link and you can only change it a limited number of times.

Profile

Image (16)

Profile photo, name, and phone number

Upload a profile photo (JPG, PNG, or WebP, up to 5MB), then fill in your first name, last name, and mobile number. The number takes a Philippine mobile — the +63 is already filled in, so just type 917 123 4567.

Watermark

Image (14)

Watermark toggle, opacity, scale, and placement

Your watermark is your logo, stamped over every preview buyers see before they pay. Flip the toggle on, then dial in:

Opacity

How visible the stamp is, 10–100%. Around 50% is the sweet spot — clearly yours, still easy to see the photo.

Scale

How large the stamp is relative to the photo, 5–60%. Around 10% keeps it tidy.

Landscape placement

Tap a slot in the grid to place the stamp on horizontal photos.

Portrait placement

Same again for vertical photos — they usually want a different corner.
The watermark toggle stays locked until you’ve uploaded a studio logo — the logo is the watermark.

Finish

Complete Setup

Click Complete Setup. If anything’s still blank the button reads Save instead — your progress is kept either way.

3. Verify your studio

Uploads are locked until your studio is verified. It’s a one-time identity check, it takes about a minute, and it earns your studio a verified badge that buyers can see.

Start Verification

You can start it from three places:

Dashboard banner

The green Verify studio banner on your dashboard.

Verify pill

The compact Verify button beside your studio name in the sidebar.

Upload gate

Try to upload photos and the prompt appears automatically.

What you’ll need

Image (19)

Scan QR Code

When verification is ongoing, please don’t close this modal.

A government-issued ID

Passport, driver’s license, UMID, PhilSys ID, PRC ID, or postal ID. Unexpired and clearly readable.

A quick selfie

A short guided selfie that proves the ID belongs to you.

About a minute

And you only do this once.

The flow

1

Click Start verification

A secure window opens from Didit, our identity partner.
2

Capture your ID

Pick your ID type, hold it flat in good light, and follow the on-screen frame. It captures automatically once aligned. Some IDs need both sides.
3

Complete the selfie check

Look at the camera and follow the prompts — usually turning your head slowly or blinking.
4

We take it from there

The window closes and Fokus confirms the result automatically. On approval you’ll see “You’re verified! You can upload photos now.” and uploads unlock immediately.
Only a studio owner can verify the studio. If you were invited as a contributor or team member, ask your studio owner to complete this step.
If your check needs a manual review, you’ll see “your verification is being reviewed” — close the dialog and check back shortly. Uploads unlock the moment it’s approved, and we’ll email you.

If verification doesn’t go through

You can restart the flow as many times as you need.
Fokus does not store your ID images or selfie — Didit holds those and gives us only the decision plus the details printed on your ID. Full detail in Verify your identity (KYC).

You’re upload-ready

Studio set up, studio verified — you can now create collections and upload photos.

Create your first collection

Set up a marketplace or private-host collection from scratch.

Upload photos

Drag and drop, watch a folder while shooting tethered, and let Fokus handle the rest.

Frequently asked

You can browse Studio and create collections unverified, but photo uploads stay locked until your studio is verified. Since uploading is the whole point, do it early.
Settings in the sidebar. Everything from the setup panel lives there — studio name, handle, logo, profile, and watermark.
Any time, from Settings → Watermark. Previews are rendered on request, so changes apply to photos you’ve already uploaded.
Yes, but only a limited number of times — it’s your public link, so changing it breaks anything already shared.
It’s the same identity check. Verifying your studio now means nothing holds up your first payout later. See Verify your identity (KYC) for the payout side.
